Ingredients

  • Milk whole, 2%, or plant-based such as almond, oat, or coconut
  • Heavy cream or half and half
  • Greek yogurt
  • Protein powder
  • Nut Butters
  • Sugar honey, agave, or sugar substitutes (such as erythritol and monk fruit)
  • Vanilla extracts or flavorings

Add-Ins:

  • Fruits fresh, frozen, and dried
  • Chocolate chips or chunks.
  • Nut or seed
  • Cookie pieces
  • Swirls with peanut butter caramel, or jam
  • Special Dietary Options:
  • Keto: Use heavy cream almond milk, and sugar-free sweetener.
  • Vegan: Use coconut cream almond milk, and maple syrup.
  • High protein: Use Greek yogurt or protein powders.

Instructions
 

Step 1: Mix the base.

  • In a blender or mixing dish, combine the milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend or stir until completely incorporated.

Step 2: Pour into Pint.

  • Transfer the mixture to the Ninja Creami pint container. Ensure that the combination does not exceed the "max fill" line.

Step Three: Freeze.

  • Place the lid on the container and freeze it upright for 24 hours. Do not omit or minimize this step; adequate freezing is required.

Step 4: Spin it!

  • After 24 hours, take the pint, place it in the Ninja Creami machine, and choose the "Ice Cream" option. It will take approximately 2-3 minutes to spin.

Step 5: Check Texture.

  • After the first spin, examine the texture. If it's too powdery, press the "Re-spin" button for a creamier outcome.

Step 6: Add Mix-Ins (Optional)

  • If desired, make a well in the center of the ice cream, add cookie bits, fruit, or nuts, and select the “Mix-In” setting.
